Judge Greg Mathis and his wife Linda Mathis are going to court to get a divorce.
Court records seen by E! News and Today show that the reality TV judge’s wife filed for divorce on Thursday. They live in Los Angeles and have been married for 39 years. In 2022, they joined their family on the E! reality show “Mathis Family Matters,” which gave fans a look into Judge Mathis’s life outside of court.

They got married in 1985 and have four grown children: Amir (34), Greg Jr. (35), Camara (36), and Jade (39).
Judge Mathis’s show “Judge Mathis,” which was set in Chicago, and Marilyn Milian’s show “The People’s Court” were both canceled in 2022. On the syndicated shows, the judges mediated between people who didn’t agree on how to settle a dispute through formal arbitration in a courtroom setting. Back-up episodes are still being shown on The U, The U Too, and OWN, and you can watch them on Tubi.
After that, the famous TV figure went back to court last year.

We are extremely confident that our eighth and newest court series with Judge Mathis will be very successful for years to come as he joins our outstanding roster of talent.”

The show “Mathis Family Matters” followed Judge Mathis and Linda Mathis as they dealt with the ups and downs of marriage and family life with their large group of children and grandchildren.
