As agreed upon by Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, the Florida court has ruled that the couple is no longer married and that Joe is single.
The agreement was accepted by a judge in Miami-Dade County on Friday. It had been one year since the 35-year-old singer from the band The Jonas Brothers asked for a divorce from the 28-year-old actor from “Game of Thrones” and “X-Men.” The couple had been married for five years.

The split put an end to a divorce that had become heated at one point and looked like it would lead to a long and ugly custody battle.
The papers said that after some talks, they came to an understanding of how to divide their assets, pay each other’s support, and care for their two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2.
She said that the couple’s deal, especially their parenting plan, was in the best interest of the family and that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
After-hours emails sent to Turner and Jonas’s representatives asking for reaction were not answered right away.
They met through Instagram texts and started going out together in 2016. Their wedding took place in secret at a church in Las Vegas in May 2019, right after the Billboard Music Awards. Dan + Shay, a country band, played at the wedding.
In September 2023, Jonas asked for a divorce. He asked for joint custody and said they had an understanding before they got married.
The next day, both of their Instagram accounts had the same friendly message put on them.

But within weeks of the breakup, Turner sued Jonas to get the girls’ papers back so they could go live with her in England, where she is from.
The daughters were born in the U.S. but have dual citizenship. Court papers say they were with Joe Jonas in New York while he was on tour. Turner said they had planned to raise the girls together in England before their marriage ended. Turner said she heard about Jonas’s divorce papers from the news, but Jonas said they had talked about it many times.
The custody battle ended in January, which showed that the couple was getting closer to a deal.
