Lori Veenendall’s Obituary: A Reflection on a Beautiful Journey

Lori Lynn Veenendall, 39 years old, died suddenly in her sleep on September 9, 2024. Kirk Zillmer and Cherie Favreau had Lori in Grand Rapids on July 14, 1985. She grew up in Lowell and dropped out of Lowell High School in 2003. Lori finished school when she graduated from the Douglas J. School of Cosmetology.

Lori has always been good at music; when she was little, she played the piano. She also had a beautiful singing voice and used it to sing in a band for a while. She also loved karaoke, and she used to work for a company as a karaoke host, which gave her many chances to make people laugh.

Because she loved all animals, Lori had a soft spot for dogs that needed loving homes. She had three dogs: a Great Dane named T-Bone, a black lab named Nova, and a German Shepherd named Elda. They were her faithful friends.

With her quick wit and fun sense of humor, Lori was friendly and easy to get along with. While she was only with us for a short time, Lori’s smile lit up the room. The life she lived and the memories she shared with everyone she knew will live on.

Her mother, Cherie Zillmer, her father, Kirk (Robyn Bailey) Zillmer, her brother, Shawn Zillmer, her maternal grandmother, Lois Favreau, her aunts and uncles, Kathleen Klusovsky, Amy (Ken) Lance, Darcy (Ken) Blum, Dean “Buddy” (Kristin) Favreau, and Bruce (Carol) Zillmer, Jr., and many other relatives and friends will miss her.
