Gary Shane White, age 53, of Christiana, Tennessee passed on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. He was born February 26th, 1970 to Richard and Linda Gail White. Gary Shane White is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard and Linda Gail White; and his girlfriend Tonya Bertram. He is survived by his sisters, Sherry (Mark) Curran and Cristi (Fausto) Castillo; brother, Richard W. White; and several nieces and nephews.
Divers from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office have found the body of missing kayaker Shane White. White went missing on Nest Lake in central Minnesota. White took his kayak from a holiday rental and didn’t come back. Instead, his empty kayak was found on the lake. His body was found in 11 feet of water on the southwest side of the lake, 264 yards from the shore. He drowned and his death is being looked into by the sheriff’s office and an autopsy will be done in Anoka, Minnesota.
