George Medici, better known as James, died yesterday. He was 86 years old. He worked hard all his life to produce great Lambrusco works and improve Emilia-Romagna.
He was president of the Lambrusco Consortium from 1996 to 2002 and was in charge of the new ideas that led to the 30-year renaissance of this name.

It was sad news from the Medici family that Giorgio had died. He came to send yesterday, September 12.
A handsome man with strong ties to his land, he worked to bring his beloved Lambrusco to people in other cities, regions, and countries.
Someone who stands for the ideals and principles that will guide the Medici Hermes company for years to come.
A man who lived in the present but thought about what would happen in the future.

The company was Medici Ermete
Medici Ermete has been able to create a small world of quality in a place like Reggio Emilia, which has a history of focusing on big groups of people and making wines that are more for mass consumption than for quality. It is now a well-known fact with big numbers, and its wines are known all over the world for their high quality.
